WEEK 7

Hi again! So sorry for the late post, because we are currently preparing for our mid-term exams, I'll be keeping this week's blog short.

8,9,10,11 October 2018

For these few days, we mainly went to for our class and had lunch in our school or outside of school sometimes. Most of our lesson brief us about our Mid-term Assignment, what we need to do and when do we need to submit or present our assignment.  Most of the assignment given were not that hard and where quite doable. Most of the trees in the school have started changing in color which is a sight for sore eyes as they were very pretty and it was the first time i ever saw this.

12 October 2018

Today we traveled to Seoul for a short 2 day trip (Yeah!!). For our first stop we went to Jongno-gu and eat some Ginseng Chicken Soup for lunch, its was delicious but could unique because they had a special ingredient added into the soup which made it even better.

Next, we went to Gyeongbokgung Palace for some sightseeing activities. Gyeongbokgung Palace  was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South Korea. The largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon dynasty, Gyeongbokgung served as the home of Kings of the Joseon dynasty, the Kings' households, as well as the government of Joseon. We rented traditional Korean(Hanbok) outfit to wear and take photo with while at the palace.

After visit the palace, we went to the nearby Bukchon Hanok Village to continue our sightseeing. Most of the house there were actually occupied by people and they help to keep the house in a traditional state

After the village, we return our Hanok and headed to Myeong-Dong for dinner and went to shop around. After Myeong-dong we headed back to our air-bnb to get a goods night rest

13 October 2018

Today, we went shopping around place like the famous Common Ground, Starfield COEX Mall which is the largest underground shopping mall in Korea and Gwangjang market. After all that, we had dinner and headed back to our dorms, thus marking the end of our short trip to Seoul

This marks the end of this week, tune in to next week as we continue our preparation for our mid-term exam/assignments.
