WEEK 6

After a long weekend and holiday last week of enjoy during Busan we are back and ready to start our school again tomorrow.

After our lunch we went back to our dorm to have a rest before heading out for dinner we had dinner at Tomato.

1 October 2018

Today we went to the same class for Digital Forensics and Network Security and Forensics, during our Digital Forensics the lecturer as always he will give us some challenging question for us to think during his class. During Network Security and Forensics our lecturer still ask us to configure the Raspberry Pi which you had saw during our week 3 post. We are to configure it into a DNS server and try to read all the incoming Ads that is block from download. After the lesson we went for lunch opposite our school as our classroom is near the entrance of our school. The follow picture is the food we had for our lunch. we have lunch and dinner at Tomato as the food there is quite nice and affordable the lunch i had cost 4000 without meal but if you want meal that is with coke and fries will cost 6300 only which is very affordable. the dinner i had the same thing it only cost 4000 won.

Today we are having a long day from school from 9-5 as we have quite a few module happening today. The following picture is the lunch we had during lunch which cost 4000 won under our dorm cafe. Today there during our Fundamental design as we have been learning about Illustrator, it has been hard at the start as this is the first time we hard use the application.

Today is a public holiday in Seoul Korea, the holiday is called "National Foundation Day". I had did a little research about today. The follow is the research web had given. 

Korean’s celebrate this founding of the first Korean kingdom on National Foundation Day. The holiday was originally on the third day of the tenth month of the lunar calendar, and was therefore on a different date each year on the solar calendar (like Chuseok).

However, since 1949, its date was moved to the solar calendar, so now National Foundation Day in Korea falls on the October 3rd every year. It is sometimes known as ‘Dangun Day’. The word Gaecheon, which makes up the holiday’s Korean name gaecheonjeol, means ‘opening of heaven’, and refers to how Hwanin opened heaven to allow his son to descend to Baekdu Mountain.

Today we decided to head to Myeong-Dong at Chun Cheon to catch a movie (Venom). Before head there we had our lunch in school first, the lunch costs our 4000won.

 After our lunch we are in the movie. The movie is a little more expensive than Singapore as we had student price, which cost us about 9000won per ticket. Singapore student price if i never remember wrongly is will cost about 7 SGD.

After the movie we decided to go the famous street for food in ChunCheon which is "dakgalbi street" in myong-dong which they have the nicest dakgalbi as of the local student recommendation. Which cost us 12500won each person.
