WEEK 5

24 September 2018

We all woke up at 5am to catch the train to Busan which was leaving at 6am. We bought breakfast from Macdonals and sat at our allocated seats. The train ride was about 6hours so we could catch up on our sleep on the train.

After the long train ride, we reached Busan! We quickly checked into our air bnb and head out to eat lunch. We ate spicy cold buckwheat noodles. It was really cold indeed.

After lunch, we went to our first destination, Haeundae Beach! It is a really beautiful place :) It wasn't sunny as all so it made it more enjoyable.

After strolling along Haeundae beach, we went to Gwangalli beach to watch the sunset and have dinner.

We had seafood stew by the beach and had a beautiful view of the bridge as it lights up into the night.

The next day, we made our way to Oryukdo Skywalk. But before that, we had our lunch. We ate BBQ Pork belly and Beef slices.. YUMMMM

We took a 1hr bus ride to reach our destination and it was so windy!

We slowly made our way to the skywalk and there was a super long queue. But it was worth it as it felt like you are walk on water.

After walking on the skywalk, we made a decision to hike the mountain on Oryukdo island. It took us about 2 hours to complete and it was dark when we reached the end point.

26 September 2018

It was our last day at Busan and we can't leave Busan without visiting the Gamcheon Culture Village. On our way there, we had to make a stop at Jachali Fish Market to eat jiajiang mian and dumplings.

Gamcheon Culture Village is really beautiful as you can oversee all the colorful houses.

After walking around the beautiful village, we went to Taejongdae beach to have some quiet time for ourselves.

This is our last dinner in Busan before heading back to Seoul and back to our schools.

Our train to Seoul was at 9:45pm and we arrived to Seoul 3:30am. The first subway train to operate in Seoul was at 5:30am so we spent our time in the train station playing card games to wait for Macdonals to open at 4am as we were starving.
We reached Chuncheon just in time for school and surprisingly we were not as sleepy as we thought we would be.
