Today we went back to "Mini Myeongdong" for lunch. we had 'Dakgalbi' and cold buckwheat noodles. The meal is about 15,000 won per person and it was delicious. After our meal we went around window shopping before heading back to our dorm via taxi. The taxi here are very cheap and can sometimes be even be cheaper than bus!! After reaching our dorm, We washed our clothes and went opposite our school to have our dinner at Mom's touch (a fast food outlet in Korea).

11 SEPTEMBER 2018

Today was the first day of the Hallym-KNU sports competition. It is a sport competition between Hallym university and another university, Kangwon National University, which is also located in Chuncheon. Some of the sports being played between the two schools include Basketball, Baseball, E-sports, Soccer, etc and also include food trucks, performances and a flea market. we went for our usual lesson before heading to the opening parade of this event. Opening parade was a parade walk from KNU back to Hallym University. It was quite tiring at first but we preserved and eventually got back to Hallym University. (Yeah!!)

After the opening parade, we headed straight for the food truck in our school and got ourselves some food while we watch the games. We had pizza which cost around 7,000 won per person and they were delicious. We watched both the basketball and baseball games one after the other and they were both very exhilarating to watch. After watching the games we had dinner at the food truck again but this time we had the 'Kong Pao Chicken with rice' which also cost around 7,000 won but it was worth as it had a lot of chicken and the chicken was just mouthwatering.

14 SEPTEMBER 2018

There was no lesson today but we had to go to the immigration office to register our fingerprints for the 'Alien card' for foreigner exchange student. After register our fingerprints, we decide to go the nearby hair salon to cut and perm my hair. The hair salon we went to is called 'Reda Hair shop' and it cost around 10,000 won per haircut and around 30,000 won to perm which is quite cheap compared to other places near here.

 (Reda Hairshop)

After my haircut we decide to have dinner at a nearby Mexican store before going to "Mini Myeongdong" to watch a movie. The movie we watch was 'The Predator ' and it cost around 11,000 won per person which is cheaper to Singapore's movie ticket pricing on a Friday Night.

(Our dinner)

15 SEPTEMBER 2018

Today we went to Uiamho lake for sightseeing. Uiamho Lake is located near Chuncheon and include things like a Skywalk where the floor below us is transparent and activities like canoeing nearby. It was quite difficult to get there at first as our taxi driver did not know how to get to the lake but after calling the place that handles the canoeing activities in the lake, they were able to instruct the taxi driver on how to get to the lake. Once we reach the lake, we decide to head to the skywalk first. It was quite terrifying as the ground beneath us was transparent and we could see the water right below us but it was worth it as the the view was stunning.

Afterwards we headed for the place that houses all the canoeing equipment for our canoeing activity. We took the bigger boat that could house 10 people on it as it was easier and less tiring on us. The people we went along with were very kind and ever helped us pay for the whole session.

After canoeing we were quite tired so we decide to just go back to school and have dinner somewhere nearby the school.

That's all forks!! Tune in next week as we travel Seoul and Busan for our Chuseok Holiday (Korea's Thanksgiving day)
