We have been in staying in the dormitory for a week already. It is hard at the start as we don speak their language. Especially when we are trying to order food from their local restaurants that does not speak English well, some restaurants don't even speak English or having English writing menu.
So today on the afternoon we went out from school to have lunch as the school canteen is still not open yet, so we have no choice but to head out just for lunch. The store is a shop that sells "pork cutlet" which is as big as my hand !! The store inner design is quite nice as it is design in a very vintage look. the follow picture will show how the store looks like and how big is the pork cutlet is this meal costs our 6800 won.
So after we had this very nice and filling lunch we went back to our dormitory just to get some rest. so follow by that Zhen Xiong and his roommate went out to get some fried chickens from the outside of school for the rest of us to eat together and chicken here in Korea is awesome!! The photo that is shown below is not all we had more than that, as we will too hungry so we had eaten one of the box of chicken that is what left over that we had it during our supper time when we are chit chatting at the common area with the others. The fried chicken cost us each 10000 won.

Today is start of our semester in Hallym University, is the week that we are going to try out modules and see do we like the module or does the lecturer is speaking in Korea during the lecture. If the lecture is speaking in Korea we have to go straight away to the International Office that take cares of our stay and study module. we have tried 2 module during from 9am - 12pm we tried "Introduction to Digital Forensics" and "Network Security & Forensic" after trying out for this two module thought by the same lecturer. His is quite friendly and his class is quite interesting when he question us during the first lesson. Follow by that we have lunch in our campus which cost us 2700 won.
After we are done with our lunch we went to try out other module which is "Capstone Design" which is at 1pm. We were quite curious about this module at the start but once we went in to the class, the lecturer started speaking in Korean with some local student. After that he explain to us in English as this module is a module every local student to take it during their year 3/4 studies then he invited a special speaker and they start to speak in Korean again for the next 30 mins. So we decided to go off earlier and drop this module to change into another module. At 3pm we have some Tuberculosis test that is told every international student that wish to stay in the dormitory has to take this test which cost us 8000 won. After the test is done we go for dinner at the canteen which does us 4000 won.

Today we are heading towards another module to try out does the module suit us. every morning we will going up this long stairs which i will call it "Staircase to heaven" HAHAHAHA! Joke aside but this staircase is no joke very tiring when its at the 9am in the morning when your body is not even warm up you have to go up this stair before reaching our classroom.
This is how our classroom looks like, which we heard from the lecturer that is classroom is for temporary as there is new building is coming up on the Wednesday (5th September) we are looking forward to the new classroom on how it going to look like.
After we had done paying for our dormitory we went to take a look at our school library which is look nice from the outside and it look very big from outside.
We went in to the library it is super big!! which has 6 floors in it we decided to go up to the highest floor of the library and the view from the top of the library is very nice! After we are done walking around the library we go back to our dormitory to have some rest before we go for dinner. as our afternoon lesson was cancel by the lecturer.

Today in the morning we went for our class and we waited outside our classroom while there is no one inside the room. After 10mins of wait another local student came to the classroom outside he waited for 2mins and he got a call from his friend i guess. after a few min he talked to his friend and he looked at us then tell us that our classes is cancel due to the new building opening and ask us to head to the opening of the building.
After the whole thing is done we go for lunch in school canteen which cost us 4000 won. Once we are done with the lunch we head back to dormitory to get some rest before we head out to and some pool game before going for dinner later. The pool game was fun as we all done really know about this game we didn't play that well. The whole thing cost us 10000 won when we played for 1.5hrs.
We then have our dinner at some local restaurants which the menu is wrote in Korean only. So what we did was showing her picture of what we want to eat and just randomly pointing on the writing. the dinner was awesome! it cost us 7000won.

Today we went for class at 9am to do some last tried out of the module and see if we like it a not if we don like any module we will then have to down it and get other module before Friday ends as it will be the last day we will be able to change module.
We then have lunch at the canteen near us which cost us 4000 won which is very nice! After we done with this very nice lunch we then head back to lesson.
When we are done with our lesson we back to our dormitory we rest as we are just way to tired after a long week we decided to eat instant noodle at our common area instead. this is the instant noodle we had for our dinner.

On our dinner we wish to try something new by trying to order food from online. At the start we are facing problem ordering the food as we haven't get our Korea number Sim card. We are lucky that we have met a few Korea friend which stay at the same floor as our dormitory. We asked him for help and his is very friendly and nice he helped us to order McDelivery. I had try out the Bacon Tomato Beef burger as it was recommended by the friend that helped us to order which cost me 9000 won. McDelivery here is very fast it took less than 20mins to reach us.

Finally today we don have class so we can go out and enjoy ourselves we went to somewhere nearby our school that is called the "Mini Myeongdong" which is about 5 bus stops away from our school. we first have lunch opposite our school which cost 4300 won before waiting for our bus ride towards "Mini Myeongdong".
It is quite a nice place to shop which there is quite a lot of nice store like Fila, Nike, ABC mart and more, Which all this store is what we like to shop for our clothing and shoes.
After we are done with our shopping we head back towards our dormitory to put down the stuff that we had buy from there before going down to have my dinner in school which cost us 4000 won. It was quite nice and worth the price.

Today we are staying in our dormitory as we had went out quite a few days. We just stay in our dormitory to watch some of our movie with our laptop. We went opposite our school to try out the same store but different menu which is a rice burger which cost me 4500 won. Once we are done with our lunch we went back to dormitory to rest and continue our movies and game.
